justsomekidd asked: I have the 4s, and the 5.1B sucks balls. You think when the final release is out the battery problems are gonna be fixed? cause as far as im concerned iphone 4 battery> iphone 4sbattery

No. Because your battery life, doesn’t get drained from the base OS, it’s the applications that you use that really murder it because development for iOS is so archaic and horrible that developers tend to just “hack” solutions (take shortcuts) and by the end I assure you we could give two shits about your battery life lol.

As a developer for this type of pervasive device (on any platform really) it has been my experience, that because of the way the .NET framework has been implemented, Windows Phones tend to get the most battery life.

But think about this, the problem you raise really isn’t an Apple problem. What you really want to ask me is this:

Why hasn’t anything better than lithium ion batteries been invented?

last time I checked, there was a “honeycomb” sort of bio-battery being developed that could hold it’s charge on a phone for six years. It was nicked “honeycomb” because the structure on a smaller level looked like honeycombs and the way it works is that each “comb” with a spark would trigger a slow chemical process that release energy to power the phone then trigger the next comb, and so on.

The way batteries work now, electricity is traveling in a closed loop cycle and a lot of energy is being wasted.
